KPMG raised concerns over Fifa accounts prior to resigning

Fifa auditor KPMG had raised concerns over the organisation’s accounts in the weeks prior to resigning according to reports in the Wall Street Journal.

Citing people familiar with the matter, the paper stated that auditors had voiced concern over football’s governing body as it sought to overhaul its operations and concerns over expenses booked by new president Gianni Infantino.
