Latest privacy app enables anonymous text messages

A new privacy app is being sold on its anonymous text functionality, allowing users to issue messages directly to people in their contact lists without being identified to the recipient.
Truth for iOS is based on Apple’s default Messaging app and requires registration and acquiescence to a raft of permission requests before the fun can begin.
Each message is automatically presaged with the words ‘The truth is…’ part of the app’s proposed gimmick of stimulating unabashed honesty courtesy of the cloak and dagger approach.
