LeBron James helps NBA slam-dunk other brands to reach 1bn loops on Vine
The National Basketball Association (NBA) has become the first organisation to surpass 1bn loops on Vine.
Game highlights, behind-the-scenes access and unique content from players all contributed to the sporting body’s win, but a full-court shot by LeBron James made up the bulk of the loops with more than 22m views.
The NBA joined the platform in 2013, launching its channel with a Vine of Chris Bosh practicing three-pointers during the NBA finals, and has since clocked up more than 1.45 million followers.
