A top TripAdvisor critic is being threatened with legal action by an irate restaurateur over a series of ‘nasty’ and ‘libellous’ comments left on the popular review site.

Chris Hobson is alleged to have penned a series of negative missives about the Double Barrel steakhouse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, after its owner refused to serve a meal for free.
