Mashable opens UK site with Blathnaid Healy at helm
Mashable has officially launched its UK website as the latest step in its ongoing international expansion drive.
The new site, which launched today (18 November) will be run by former RTE journalist Blathnaid Healy as UK editor, along with Tim Chester as deputy UK editor.
Pete Cashmore, founder of the US-headquartered news site, revelaed its intentions to launch a London office at Advertising Week Europe in March.
The UK site comes on the one year anniversary of the appointment of Jim Roberts, Mashable’s executive editor, who joined from Reuters.
