Meat and livestock Australia urged to withdraw ad featuring Ganesh amid Hindu protest

Hindus have vented their fury towards Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) urging them to withdraw their “You Never Lamb Alone” ad.

They have also requested Australia Advertising Standards Bureau to ban the ad in a protest spearheaded by Rajan Zed, president of Universal Society of Hinduism. In a statement, he said that an apology was in order from MLA board chair Dr Michele Allan and managing director Richard Norton.
