More than 25% of last week’s social TV reactions were about the U.S. Women’s Soccer World Cup win

Tweeters last week were proverbially chanting U-S-A! U-S-A! In this week’s social TV review from Canvs, the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup final game between the USA and Japan generated 955,056 of the 3,661,068 reactions last week on Twitter.

The once-every-four-years event took a bite out of Shark Week’s thunder, although Discovery’s perennial summer favorite managed 890 “addicted” reactions.
