Music to accompany tweets as Twitter unveils 'Audio Card' after iTunes and Soundcloud agreement
Twitter’s timeline is about to get a lot louder upon the introduction of ‘Audio Card’, a feature allowing iOS and Android users to stream audio from the timeline for the first time.
The social network has partnered with audio-streaming site, Sound Cloud, and iTunes, to allow users to listen to content directly from Twitter, while browsing.
Having just launched the ‘Promoted Video’ scheme in August, users will now be able to listen to ‘Audio Card’ content as Twitter diversifies its service to accommodate a wider range of media formats.
