Nest co-founder Tony Faddell announces his surprise departure

Nest co-founder Tony Faddell has announced he is ‘leaving the Nest’ in a surprise move which will see him assume an advisory role at parent firm Alphabet.
Faddell’s exit will open the way for Marwan Fawaz to head up the smart home device maker, bringing a wealth of executive experience to the role having previously served at Charter, ADT and Motorola Home.
