New York Times London office set for major digital expansion

The New York Times is to significantly expand its London office with reports indicating it may bump its current staff roll of 65 to 100 or more as it works to transform the bureau into a digital hub.
Speaking to the Press Gazette the NYT’s president of international said that the expansion would not see the title compete directly with the British media on local issues but rather focus on Europe and international affairs.
