Nike move in on Chelsea with kit deal reportedly worth double what Adidas paid

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a new £60m per year kit agreement with Nike in deal worth twice as much as its existing contract with Adidas.

Nike will supply kits for the Premier League club from the beginning of the 2017-18 season however the length of the deal remains unknown.

The news comes one week after Chelsea announced that it would end its £30m per year kit agreement with Adidas six years early in what it said was a “mutual agreement”.
