North Korea threatens UK with ‘consequences’ over upcoming Channel 4 thriller

North Korea has issued a threatening statement to the United Kingdom and the producers of upcoming Channel 4 thriller Opposite Number over claims that the hermit state’s nuclear weapons were ‘… manufactured by ‘illegally acquiring’ nuclear technology from Britain.”
The rogue state’s National Defence Commission – overseen by Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s supreme leader, warned that Britain faces ‘disgrace and self-destruction’ unless it blocks broadcast of the ten part thriller, which dramatises a hypothetical international crisis stemming from events in North Korea.
