Paramount cancels Cannes Lions Star Trek panel following the death of actor Anton Yelchin
Paramount Pictures has cancelled its Q&A with Star Trek stars Chris Pine and Simon Pegg at Cannes Lions following the death of actor Anton Yelchin who played Pavel Chekov in the movie.
The panel was due to go ahead on Thursday morning (23 June), however after the news broke over the weekend of Yelchin’s death, which was caused by a freak accident, Paramount decided to abandon the talk.
