Passenger carrying drone aircraft to take first test flight over Nevada

Chinese firm Ehang has obtained permission to begin test flights of an autonomous passenger carrying drone aircraft in the skies above Nevada, marking the first time such a system has been put through its paces.
The vehicle, code named 184, debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year but has divided opinion thus far over how many people will be brave/foolhardy enough to take a flight.
Mark Barker of the Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems said: “I personally look forward to the day when drone taxis are part of Nevada’s transportation system.”
