Peppa Pig gets Italian woman’s goat

British cartoon show Peppa Pig is being sued by an Italian woman alleging that a cartoon goat featured in the show has caused her embarrassment at work as she shares the same name.
Gabriella Capra is seeking damages of £80k from the creators of the show over its Gabriella Goat character (Capra is Italian for goat) after allegedly being subjected to a tirade of jokes in the office with colleagues bleating at her.
One offending episode, ‘Holiday in the Sun’, features the central characters, a family of pigs, on holiday in Italy whereupon they encounter Gabriella Goat.
