Peta campaign condemns leather industry for lack of transparency on animal sources

Animal rights organisation Peta has released a new video shining a light on the fact leather producers never reveal which animal the material comes from on their labelling.

A video from Catsnake shows a curious troupe of children trying to discern what animals are used in leather production underlining how poorly labelled leather products actually are.

The ad reads: “Leather is skin, animals in the leather industry endure appalling abuse.

“Labels won’t tell you which animal the skin came from or how cruelly the animal was treated.”
