Redbull doesn't give you wings, or the promised refund following claim rush
Redbull customers expecting a cash reimbursement after the firm was sued for using the misleading ‘Redbull gives you wings’ motto for over a decade may be in for a bit of a disappointment following a high volume of users claiming their share of the payout.
Upon Wednesday’s news that Red Bull does not actually give consumers wings, the drinks firm paid over $13m into a reimbursement account, with those who felt they were misled by the product’s false claim, invited to apply for a refund worth around $10-$15 before 2 March 2015.
