Royal Mail challenger TNT Post rebrands as Whistl and trials electric unicycle deliveries

Delivery company TNT Post has rebranded under the name Whistl and announced that its postmen are set to begin delivering parcels on electric unicycles.

Staff are currently being trained in the use of the AirWheel, which has a top speed of 12mph and a 20-mile range, and is legally allowed to be used on pavements and pedestrian routes.

The trail will begin in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool with 100 postmen using the technology. If successful it will be implemented nationwide.
