Irish broadcaster RTÉ has called on UFC superstar Conor McGregor to rally support for the country as the national team embarks on its inaugural match at Euro 2016.

The two minute ad sees the 28 year-old mixed martial artist echo his famous rallying call: “We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over.”

McGregor first uttered the phase after his victory over Diego Brandao at a UFC event in his home town of Dublin in 2014.
