News Corp proprietor Rupert Murdoch has announced his engagement to ex-supermodel and actress Jerry Hall via a low key classified ad advertisement published in The Times, one of the press baron’s own suite of titles.

Murdoch has had something of a complicated love life having been married three times, most recently to Wendi Deng, an executive at Murdoch’s own Star TV whom he divorced in 2013 after 14 years of marriage.

Hall was previously married to Mick Jagger, lead singer of the Rolling Stones, for more than 20 years before the pair split.
