News Corp proprietor Rupert Murdoch has weighed into the lingering furore surrounding The Sun’s apparent volte-face in purging its use of page 3 topless models by gloating on social media.

Noting the reams of free publicity generated by the whizz Murdoch observed via Twitter: ‘The Sun will always have great looking women – and men!’

Much fuss and publicity in UK as horrible elites yak on about Page 3. Worry not, The Sun will always have great looking women – and men!
