Scottish economy benefits from music tourism to the tune of £295m a year

The Scottish economy received a £295m boost over the past year from music tourism according to a UK Music report, with 928,000 people attending festivals, concerts and other music related events.
Wish You Were Here found that there was growing demand for live music in the country with a 16 per cent increase in overseas music tourism helping to raise attendance at British music events to 27.7m people in 2015.
