Shakira and Rovio unite for app as celebrity gaming trend continues
Shakira is the latest celebrity to hop on the gaming trend after teaming with Angry Bird’s maker Rovio Entertainment for a new app titled Love Rocks Starring Sharika.
The app sees the singer, who reportedly approached the company after being inspired by football player husband Gerard Piqué’s online game, feature in the app alongside reminaged versions of her songs.
The game is similar to popular app Bejeweled and sees players match gems and stones with each new level set in differing countries and cities.
