Chinese firm Transsion, known for providing mobile communication products and mobile internet services, is set to launch its smartphone brand Tecno in India after launching its ‘itel’ brand last year.

‘Itel’ stood at the second spot in the overall mobile phone market in the last quarter of 2016. Tecno’s launch is expected by the end of this month which will further increase competition in India, one of the world’s largest mobile phone markets.
