Ex-Man City and England player Steve Howley will be ‘yapping’ live with fans during Man City’s Champions League second-league match against Barcelona as part of the launch campaign for SportsYapper, a social media application for sports fans.

UM London has been tasked with handling media planning and buying for the app and though the account was originally won by UM in the US, the UK will be SportsYapper’s first national launch.

The purpose-built mobile app enables sports fans to share the thrill of games with friends and fellow supporters.
