Sonos unleashes pulsing optical illusion logo

Speakers firm Sonos has launched a new static logo which pulsates when viewers scroll up or down the page – thanks to an optical illusion.

The image, created by Bruce Mau Design (BMD) which has been working with the firm since 2011, pulses much like the brand’s speaker products, in a move that sees the branding go above and beyond to promote the firm’s message.

On its Sonos partnership, BMD says on its website: “Together with Sonos, we assessed our initial visual identity and determined that we needed to push harder to signal Sonos’ leadership, relevance, and dedication to the music experience.
