Sprint CMO to leave as new chief's move scuppers controversial TV campaign

Jeff Hallock, the chief marketing officer of US wireless carrier Sprint, is leaving. He will depart by the end of the first quarter of 2015, the company said on Friday. But a spokesman said his departure was not connected with a”Framily” TV campaign, featuring oddball characters.
This was discontinued after CEO Marcelo Claure, joined the struggling phone company in August and initiated a major agency review.
