Superman debut comic breaks record in £1.93m eBay sale
An issue of ‘Action Comics #1’, featuring Superman, became the world’s most expensive comic book on Sunday after being sold for a record-breaking £1.93m on auction site eBay.
The first-ever edition of the comic sold on eBay for the world record-breaking figure after it was found to be in near perfect condition by analysts.
Seller Darren Adams and eBay donated one per cent of the sale to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation for spinal-cord injury and paralysis research.
