Switzerland has become the first nation to get out of the starting blocks in the field of airborne drone postal deliveries with the launch of a trial through the month of July.

Whilst commercial scale deliveries using the system aren’t expected to cloud our skies until 2020 the Swiss postal service is keen to identify both opportunities and potential problems as early as possible through live testing of parcel deliveries to remote Alpine villages.
