Target launches Halloween site designed to highlight the best trick-or-treat spots

Target has added to its Halloween advertising with a new website designed to point trick-or-treaters to the best locations for candy.

The Minneapolis-based retailer launched a mobile and desktop website called Treatster which allows users to search for the best trick-or-treating locations in their neighbourhoods.

Using location services data, the Treatster site marks on a map the best houses to stop by for candy. The website allows people to add their homes which are shown on the map with a pumpkin icon.
