Transport for London (TFL) is warning that a number of variables can impact adversely upon the use of the newly launched Apple Pay in the underground.

The body has warned that individuals using contactless mobile payment services such as Apple Pay will be charged the full price of the journey if their battery expires during journeys.

Furthermore, a warning was issued to ensure that commuters use the same device that was used to pay for the journey, as transactions are tracked in such a way.
