Endless photocopier stories told us that it was only a matter of time before somebody 3D printed their genitals.
Unfortunately for Japanese artist Megumi Igarashi, her experiment with a 3D printer and her intimate details have landed her an arrest for falling foul of obscenity laws. Igarashi, who works under the pseudonym ‘Rokudenashiki’ (which means ‘good for nothing girl’) – was ‘caught’ emailing the digital representation of her vagina to people to 3D print copies. Igarash’s ultimate idea was to build a kayak based on the template – the ‘pussy boat’.
