The Scottish Government appoints Carat, Spirit, Republic of Media and Media Shop to split media buying framework

The Scottish Government has moved to break its media buying services contract into two frameworks, appointing four agencies in the process; Carat, Spirit, Media Shop and Republic of Media.

The current media buying services framework, which began on 1 June 2011 with the appointment of Carat Scotland, covered a range of media such as TV, digital, radio, outdoor and cinema.

Following its expiry at the end of September, The Drum has learned that four agencies, including Carat which will handle international services, were appointed across a new format.
