Trinity Mirror looks set to publish the final edition of the New Day newspaper this Friday (6 May) just two months after its launch according to reports.

The decision first broke this evening, though the publisher has declined to confirm or deny the news. An announcement is expected first thing tomorrow (Thursday 5 May) as part of the media company’s trading update to the stock market.
