Twitter and its lopping video service Vine have bridged the gap enabling users of both platforms to connect their accounts.

Linking user’s social platforms can aid in the discovery of content and also allow for cross-promotions across both accounts, providing benefit in particular to content creators using Vine. The update also sees a search revamp which allows Twitter searches for Vine profiles and Vine searches for Twitter profiles.
