Twitter users force shareholders to consider co-operative model

A group of Twitter users are preparing plans to carve out a new future for the ailing social media service in the wake of its failed sale, by attempting to convert the platform into a cooperative instead.

The bold plan is up for consideration at a shareholder meeting this May after the group secured sufficient petition support to make it as an official agenda item.

In the unlikely event that shareholders should warm to the idea they would then proceed with a detailed report exploring the ‘nature and feasibility’ of such a move.
