US public relations agency MWW has acquired London-based business-to-business PR firm Braben for an undisclosed sum, with the team to join MWW’s London office.

The acquisition of the communications agency, which specialises in the media, technology and advertising industries, will see Braben founder Sarah Locke become MWW’s global brand ambassador, while managing director Matt Bourn will take on role of senior vice president and head of the MWW European media practice.

Locke said: “The coming together of Braben with MWW’s UK TMT division will create a European centre of excellence across the media, technology, telecoms and advertising sectors.
