Waitrose has tapped the expertise of retail software supplier PCMS to bolster its mobile and tablet operations.

Choosing to renew its contract with PCMS for an additional 10 years, Waitrose will task the group with rolling out its Vision OnDemand solution which offers mobile and tablet based point of sale.

The system will bring together the retailer’s tablet and mobile bringing under the one umbrella its price, promotions and basket calculations.
