WPP and ITV invest in digital studio Indigenous Media

WPP and ITV are among a number of investors to take a stake in digital studio Indigenous Media, a firm founded by award-winning film makers Jon Avnet, Rodrigo Garcia and Jake Avent.

The studio, which produces scripted content and develops channel brands for content distribution, has received investment from the companies alongside Advancit Capital and individual investors.

Both WPP and ITV will contribute advertising and distribution ideas to the firm while it concentrates on delivering content to attract brand sponsorships.
