Yes comes out on top amid more than 7 million tweets on #indyref, Twitter reveals
More than seven million tweets about Scottish independence have been sent since the first debate between SNP leader Alex Salmond and Better Together’s Alistair Darling in August, Twitter has revealed – and the Yes campaign came out on top.
In the last 48 hours alone, Twitter exploded with debate and the social network recorded 1.5 million mentions of the subject.
