YouTube to launch ad-free subscription service 'Music Key' to monetise its content library

YouTube has revealed its ad-free music video streaming service allowing users to view and download content for a fee £9.99 a month.

It emerged in August that Google’s music streaming service was to be called YouTube Music key after a company screenshot was leaked. In the following months, the company has managed to sign up hundreds of indie labels to participate in the app’s beta stage although it remains in contention with many of the larger labels.
