Should you feed the trolls?: man takes to Twitter to complain of burns after ‘making love’ to Domino’s Pizza

By Ishbel Macleod Domino’s Pizza is being praised on Twitter for its straight replies to a troll who contacted the food brand to complain that he suffered burns after ‘making love to your pizza’. Following the American Pie-style comment, the chain suggested that the man contact the company’s head office, before adding that it would ‘look for a way to notify customers of [the dangers of] this in future.’ There are dangers in replying to trolls, and many companies strongly adhere to the policy of not ‘feeding the trolls’ by ignoring such comments left on Twitter. Paramount faces backlash after blocking Twitter Top Gun account

By John Glenday A painstaking Twitter recreation of 80s Tom Cruise vehicle Top Gun has been forced offline by lawyers representing film studio paramount, over concerns that the project breached its copyright. A takedown notice issued by the studio saw Twitter delete the account of user @555uhz who had been posting subtitled still frames from the movie at a rate of two per hour to recreate the film in micro-blog form.
