Huawei selects UDG United Digital Group to lead Western Europe digital marketing push

By John McCarthy Huawei has awarded United Digital Group (UDG) the position of its lead agency for digital marketing of Western Europe. The digital marketing agency was granted the role by the Chinese tech giant to develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for a market growth in countries such as UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland. The agency will be responsible for giving the firm’s smartphones, accessories and wearables a push in Western Europe, after acquiring the contract following a competitive pitch. ASA bans two misleading Bupa Insurance cancer ads

By John McCarthy The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has banned two Bupa Insurance ads which appeared on TV and video on demand services for implying it granted patients a higher chance of surviving cancer. Two Bupa ads which featured a testimonial voice-over claiming the service “probably saved my life” received 25 complaints for implying Bupa granted patients a greater chance of cancer survival.
