Thomson Cruises continues brand reposition with online campaign featuring Olympian Yohan Blake

By Natalie Mortimer Thomson has released an online campaign in a bid to attract a younger clientele to its new cruise offerings. The ‘Dream Runners’ film, which shows Olympic medallist Yohan Blake racing against freerunning team 3run, has been created to promote its 2014 and 2015 sailings from Montego Bay, Jamaica – the new home port of the Thomson Dream ship. The film, produced in collaboration with 3run Media, is the sequel to the travel operator’s 2013 film Platinum Parkour, which garnered 100,000 views in one month on YouTube. Bitcoin exchange Mt Gox disappears online a day after deleting all its tweets

By Ishbel Macleod Bitcoin exchange Mt Gox seems to be trying to do its best to disappear, as its website has gone down, with only a blank white screen appearing. Cryptically, its source code includes the line “put announce for mtgox acq here”, perhaps suggesting an acquisition is on the cards for the troubled business. Last week, the business changed offices because of ‘safety concerns’ from protesters, after halting withdrawals indefinitely after detecting “unusual activity”, leaving some out of pocket by thousands of pounds, including Kolin Burges, who cannot access his $300,000 of Bitcoins.
