Sky announces TV scholarship programme

By John Glenday Sky has announced that it will create five TV scholarship positions on existing Sky partnered courses run by the National Film and Television School. Three places on the broadcast production course and two on the digital content and formats course will be fully funded by the broadcaster as part of Sky Academy – an industry/academic collaboration which sees Sky support both courses by offering placements and mentoring. Pearson and Foursquare launch new student app

Launched today (27 March) the ‘Inspired Locations of Learning’ app utilises data from Foursquare along with student tips to list the best places to study around universities and cities. Bacardi harnesses the real-life power of its brand marque for Bat Beats music project
