Ryman and Grey London create sustainable font with Monotype and Hogarth

By Ishbel Macleod If everyone used Ryman Eco when printing, we would save over 490 million ink cartridges, the stationary brand says, promoting its new font. Grey London, who came up with the concept, is now implementing Ryman Eco across its global 96 country network, which Ryman is making the font available for free online and will be promoting it in store. The font was designed by Monotype and Hogarth, and if used by everyone, would save nearly 15 million barrels of oil a year. Chinese electronics firm Hisense launches first UK website with Parallax

By Michael Feeley Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense has launched its first website targeting UK consumers, designed by Leeds-based digital agency Parallax. Hisense are one of the largest manufacturers of white goods and consumer electronics in the world, with an annual revenue of $15 billion. They are the fifth largest television manufacturer globally and the largest in China. Hisense also recently entered the tablet market with its Sero 7 model.
