By Ishbel Macleod The only thing with the same spread and reach as technology companies such as Google is ‘biological viruses’, Axel Springer chief executive Mathias Dopfner has said in an open letter to the search giant. Published in German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the letter is in response to a column by Google chairman Eric Schmidt, which said that media company Axel Springer had signed a muti-year deal with Google. Bud Light has created its own version of #worldstoughestjob – suggesting fatherhood beats motherhood

Now, Bud Light has revealed a version for men. Nike ditches hardware wearables market, sacks most of FuelBand team

By Ishbel Macleod Nike is set to close down its wearables hardwear plans, with most of the team responsible for the creation of the FuelBand fitness tracker let go. Virgin Media error sees users bombarded with 100s of emails, but company insists data was not breached

By Ishbel Macleod Over 135,000 Virgin Media users received hundreds of unwanted emails, after a mistake saw a supplier send out an email which saw any replies sent to everyone in the group. Virgin Media has apologised, and said that only a ‘small proportion’ of users were affected by the mistake.
