By Stephen Lepitak STV has revealed a growth in total airtime revenue of between 5 and 7 per cent within its first quarter trading results, while digital revenue was up by between 15 – 20 per cent. The Scottish broadcaster, which is set to roll out its new local TV station, STV Glasgow on 2 June, revealed that national airtime revenue had risen by 5 per cent, while the Scottish marketplace alone had grown by 7 per cent during the first quarter. Read MoreBy Natalie Mortimer BskyB has had its advert for Now TV banned after the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled it exaggerated the content of the streaming device. The ASA investigated after a viewer complained that the ad, which included a number of channel logos, including Sky 1, was misleading as they believed that the number of programmes available on Sky 1 was unlimited. BskyB said all content featured in the ad was available to their customers to stream at the same time as they were broadcast live, and they had not featured content that could not be viewed on live channels.
