Nokia to rebrand as Microsoft Mobile

By John Glenday An internal Nokia memo has been leaked to the media suggesting that the fallen Finnish mobile phone giant could be about to be rebranded as Microsoft Mobile after being subsumed by its new owners. An excerpt published by Mashable states: “Please note that upon the close of the transaction between Microsoft and Nokia, the name of Nokia Corporation/Nokia Oyj will change to Microsoft Mobile Oy. Facebook set to launch mobile advertising network this month

By Ishbel Macleod Facebook could be set to launch a mobile advertising network at the F8 conference this month, according to reports. It is believed that, if true, the network could provide better ad targeting, using the data gathered by Facebook. Re/code, which first announced the news, also indicated that this would see Facebook increase its ad reach, even when users are not on Facebook itself.
