By Stephen Lepitak STV, VisitScotland and Scottish Enterprise have all announced their decisions to quit the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) after the organisation revealed that it planned to back the Better Together campaign fighting against independence in the upcoming Scottish referendum. The three organisatons announced their decision, claiming that they had to remain politically neutral, and that meant their membership with the lobbying organisation could no longer continue after the CBI registered with the Electoral Commission in order to campaign for a No vote. Retail Week believes that Wragg left Asda for the new position because of a desire to handle multichannel again, having previously held the role of multichannel director at the supermarket before a reshuffle. In his new role for SuperGroup, which owns the Superdry brand, Wragg will replace current e-commerce director Chris Griffin. Superdry has recently launched websites in Switzerland, Canada, Spain and Italy, as online sales increased by a quarter in H1 of 2013. Wragg will take up his role at the end of April.
